Ah man thats terrible! Get well soon, Kayin!

    -

Having trouble with my PC right now, the same thing is happening again like the other night.

Tonight, I was at home to see for myself, and it turned off on me randomly and the monitors won't come back on.... :wallbash:

    1. Ebay: Finally got a refund for the 7D battery grip I bought & returned ( due to not being the model shown in the auction pictures- sellers mistake, not mine ); they did not refund me the £6.40 it cost to return the item, so I'm out of pocket due to someone elses stupidity. Ebay also automatically closed the case which makes it very hard to get back that extra money. If it was my error or I decided I didn't want the item because I changed my mind, then fair enough, but that is not the case- time to contact ebay & get pissy...

    2. Ebay: Sold another old mouse I don't use, only listed postage for UK ( £8  ); ebay decided however that I wanted it to be listed internationally and now some Russian dude has won the auction & paid before I realised that international postage has been allowed... which I didn't set a ( higher ) price for. It'll actually cost about £16 to post the mouse, so I've had to send a message explaining the mistake and hope he will understand & not get pissy. I didn't select UK only postage I must admit, but having International postage set by default is retarded.

    3. Children on forums: I run a little photography competition on an R/C forum each month, and I clearly state in the 10 simple to understand rules that no one should post pictures if they are not entering the competition. Ofcourse, some idiot decides to post a random picture he found which fits the theme of the contest, just to show a nice picture which fits the theme :eyebrow: but which isn't his entry ( he posted his actual entry in the next post ). I ofcourse deleted the picture and asked him to please read the rules before posting anything in future. Now he has deleted his entry and modified the red text I put in his deleted post; never delete or alter the red text that a moderator puts in your post... :nono:

Local Royal Mail Delivery Office has decided that instead of being open to 7pm every evening as they have for years they will shut up at 3:30pm for collections.

So if you work you have to wait till weekend to pick up your post!

Which one? I'm a member of quite a few but RC has been on the back burner of the cooker that is my long list of hobbies for the past year+. I really need to get my heli's airborn again next season or just throw in the towel and flog the lot for a nice quad/hex camera platform.

RM sorting office here closes at 5:30 PM Mon-Fri, 12 PM Saturday. The one near where I lived whilst at uni was the same AFAIK but I only had to visit it half a dozen times in 4 years, whereas I'm at the local one here every week!

Beat Your Truck, it used to be a very busy forum but after the economy went down the toilet it's become very quiet like a lot of sites, entries to the photo contest have dropped by more than half so now it's a bi-monthly thing, and even then I still get hardly any entries and most of them are total garbage at that :hehe:

I haven't touched my trucks for 2 years, just haven't had the time or weather for it- I don't feel like selling up however as I know I won't get back a fraction of what I spent....

Thank you very much for your concern and the resources. I am currently dealing with a Psychiatrist and trying to find a Psychologist to help me work through the issues.

Yes the U.S. Army has cut over 100k people and looking to cut 70K more. The military has always used you for what they could and then tossed people to the side you are expendable.

It was a double fusion you are correct. I have been in physical therapy for almost 3 years pre and post surgery. Tell your other half and your father that I appreciate their service (i'm assuming they served).

    Kayin

I hope that you get better and have a speedy recovery (which I know may not be fast). I wish you all the best I know what it's like to have uncontrollable pain you have my understanding and sympathies.

Thank you I appreciate that, and everyone's understanding and concern. Sorry for the wall of text and that really was the shortened version. Big internet hug to all of you for your caring for other people.

Lack of direction, possibly suffering from dysthymia,no job and visa is going to run out, no plans for what to do after, read too much on the internet , recovering from a fever and an over active mind that keeps thinking about capitalism and its future, hopefully not turning out to be like the one in transmetropolitan.

If you can help to figure out what's up with me,please PM.

EE Broadband. I can't even watch a simple 3 min YouTube video with the quality turned down to 240, it becomes a bigger nightmare when I try to upload a website. Don't even get me started on their call centers.
