Other What's ruining your life right now?

Having a beautiful baby bird die in my hands just 10 minutes ago. I heard my cat outside meowing and bird squelings but I was in the bathroom and didn't make it out in time. Even though I'm 34 it still made me dreadfully sad and made me cry that the little guy never got a shot at life.

 

Put a collar with a bell on your cat; the wildlife will hear your cat coming from a mile away and most will have time to escape. Our old family cat used to bring in birds, mice and even a bat once, just something to live with really as that's how cats are...

 

Yeah it sucks. He has a collar and bell but it was a fledgling that couldn't fly

 

Aww. I love birds so I really hate the sound of anything like that.

 

My girlfriend works in the wildlife department at our local RSPCA.

She has to deal with this every day unfortunately.

Pisses me off that people don't spay/neuter their cats...

Waaaaaay too many of the bloody things.

All cats will do this. They aren't pets, they're lodgers, and the birds / mice / half-eaten rabbit / neighbours Koi are your rent money!

 

That's it, a lot of cats will bring people things if they (the people) are not feeling too well either. Food to feed them up and all that.

A cat that used to live with my parents was never too bothered with birds, he just had a burning hatred for rats and would take apart nests of them from an early age. He'd just rip a small bit out of the throat then line the bodies up on the back garden. He'd only stop once he needed a rest for a bit (or they had all been dealt with).

 

My cat Montie loves catching Slow Worms. We get loads in our garden and thankfully he never hurts them. He just enjoys the way they wiggle on the patio

The slow worm ejects the end of it's tail as a defense mechanism and some times I'll go outside and find a wriggleing tail end on the door step.

Sometime a kid leave you a bad feedback just for fun, just because 'Hey this seller is at 100%....let's change that!'. That's worst : /

 

Can you not contest bad feedback?

I have always though so, some guy left me negative feedback once for no reason at all and I raised a case against him.

 

Whenever I think my life couldn't go wrong any more than it has, life sneaks up and kicks me in the nuts wearing steelies...
