I think you'd be doing the right thing. Dogs get incredibly upset and frustrated as well as depressed if their mobility is suffering. Hopefully she's well taken care of and comfortable.

My mother and her husband has a 14 year old Chocolate Labrador. Old for a Lab, and he's got cysts, cancer and only really moves to eat his food. Makes me angry because they barely take care of him, his nails clack against the floor since they're overgrown, he's covered in fleas too. It's no life for him; he's suffering and they're just thinking of letting him die than to pay money to a vet to put him down.

Went to the garage for an anti-rust treatment, today I was doing a wax and noticed their was ZERO ANTI-RUST STUFF under the damn car. What the bloody hell did he just do to my car during a full hour ? We are in Canada, if you don't apply anti-rust on the car's floor, what the point of the treatment?

I really hope you went back to the garage and complained. That is just pure negligence on their part.

Not negligence, pure swindle. My father sent his car the same day and there was no anti-rust stuff to be found under the car : / They did the hood, the trunk and the edges of the fenders but the floor is dirt dry. We went back to the garage and they will do the job again Monday.

For some reason I read that as "'rents mother died, they needed a replacement today..."

Quite the  reaction from me for a moment.

I was fired last month from a job I hated and enjoyed in equal measures (nightclub manager)
I bassically got a new boss who was/is a complete C***, people warned me about him but i thought nah can't be that bad...

Anywho don't work there anymore but the new club i was supposed to be working at is ALL over my social media feeds, my friends go/work there and it feels like a kick in the face everytime i see it.

    I also damaged my car.

And signed up to jobseekers allowance which i thought i'd never do. I have a job starting in december and just can't wait! It's so boring being stuck at home.

It being dark, cold and miserable outside by the time I finish work at the end of the day. My flat has crazy high ceilings which means it never warms properly so I'm aways cold and in a multitude of layers.

Those feels fella. I hated being on Jobseekers. Some people can be contented to living on the dole and doing nothing but I was so sick of it I was looking for ANY job going. Cleaning toilets seemed better than being on the dole. It genuinely made me depressed, not just saying it; I was literally depressed most of the entire year I spent on it.

I'm stuck in a bit of a negative place with my work at the moment.

I love the general purpose of my work and helping the people that I support... but my colleagues in the office are beginning to get unbearable with their constant bickering, complaining about mundane things and diverting things they can't be bothered to deal with in my direction.
Annoyingly I can't speak to the senior managers about my issues with the staff because they're equal offenders and act as if everything is fitting into their perfect plans. At the same time the chief exec is practically in my senior manager's pocket so he's not approachable either.

I'm at a complete loss as I don't know who I can turn to at work to raise the problems and the stress and uncomfortable feeling of being at work is making me unable to focus.

I feel like I'm on the verge of snapping and going absolutely ballistic at my colleagues. Which is probably one of my only two options, it's either read them all the riot act and bare the consequences or decide that I've had enough of the situation and look for something new. The latter is probably the only sensible option but I guess I'm just not keen on trawling through the job market again which is making me put up with everything.

Some f***ing c**t bag has parked their stupid little Kia across BOTH of my parking spaces so I can't park on my own "driveway". They were there when I got home last night, and there when I left this morning.

There are 6 marked spaces shared across 3 houses, the spaces are on the deeds and are very much mine. This t**t head has managed to park so badly I can't get in anywhere!

The vehicle's tax ran out 2 days ago, DVLA say there is no registered keeper. The police won't do anything because it is on private land, my private land! So there is a possibility someone has abandoned a car and I can't do anything about it!

I have only owned the house for a week, and it's a new build so everyone in the street knows the deal with parking, if I find out it is one of the neighbours I am not going to be happy.

    ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!

Smash the window, release the handbrake and push it out of the way. Nobody owns it, so nobody will care, right?

Alternatively, tape some cushions to the front of your car and gently nudge it out of the way.

"No registered keeper"? Call a scrapyard & get it weighed in.

That was my thought as well.
Since the DVLA has confirmed it's not registered to anyone, any scrap yard with sense will jump at the thought of the free money from claiming that vehicle.

Open it and replace it with a compact flash card with a zif to cf adapter. It's like having an SSD for your Ipod; plus it makes it really bloody light and without the annoying HDD noise. :thumb:
