Worst back pain I have ever experienced.

I'm on diazepam and some other drugs I cant remember the name of.

Can't even put my socks on by myself.

 

Lie down with an ice pack on the area, bring your knees up so that your feet are flat on the floor and gently rock your knees from side to side. It's what I've done for years (chronic back pain for 18+ years) and it helps no end when mine goes really bad.

I also see a chiropractor for some loosening massage and cracking which helps me a lot (despite what some people might say...).

 

Cheers for the advice. That's my standard operating procedure, however I don't think I could bend that way at the moment, serious nerve spasms and shooting pains.

It sure can't. We don't know what exactly is wrong. I know I still haven't heard the whole story, think it's just too hard for her to talk about. If she has discovered what else might be wrong she's not telling me, I told her back when she moved out that it has to have been brought on by something else and at that point she didn't know what that could have been. She might know more now, I can't offer any insight because I don't know her husband.

She's a tough cookie and even though she's opened up to me about it, she only tells me what she wants to. She's aware that it's annoying and worrying me too, so maybe that has something to do with it as well.

He's still going to work, from what I'm told they're not in mountain of debt, they have two gorgeous little girls and you couldn't hope to be married to a nicer girl. I really don't get it. It stopped being a marriage and a relationship a long time ago, but it will still destroy their lives if he does even attempt to kill himself.

 

Mums cancer has spread to the liver. Matter of months instead of years as previously thought.

Well I had the meeting yesterday to discuss my absense record and was told that I was being "dismissed" due to amount of occasions that I had of absense due to illness over the last 12 months.

Now I need to try and find a new job, with no qualifications and no experience really in working for a company not related to Virgin Media.

Got 2 weeks grace period where I can relax and take it easy as I have another months wages coming and holiday pay, but I am just going to start pounding the streets on Monday looking for another job even if it's, cleaning the streets.
