Building work going from a headache that can be worked around to a full-blown cluster****...

Short version - Landlords are replacing the bathroom and windows on this flat and the downstairs flat... Everything was supposed to be finished today, and the scaffolding scheduled to be taken down tomorrow...

Only after nearly a fortnight they haven't finished the bathroom, they haven't even *started* on the upstairs windows [ours] despite the fact the scaffolding is due to be gone tomorrow... and they've generally been a bunch of cowboys throughout...

Taking a lot of restraint not to bury an axe in their faces... But hey... it's not like I work from home or anything... Oh... wait...

I too am wondering that, Noticed the posts the other day and was just looking and noticed no more for a little.

    Hope the guys ok.

Looks like there is something in the air. Been having a pretty grim time recently in dealing with some old memories that I buried.

Was hanging out with a girl I have been on a couple of dates with, and something in whatever we were watching triggered some pretty upsetting memories, and I ended up a wreck for a little bit, So I think I may have cocked up that chance and I am struggling to deal with the memories too. Not been sleeping properly not been eating properly and generally have been struggling.

Trying to at least eat and look after myself so that I don't get sick from stress, as I have been under a fair bit of stress recently from work and I don't think that has helped my mental state.

Only thing I am really focusing on at the moment is if I have not cocked up my chance with this girl then making the most of it, as so far she seems to know how to keep the memories from getting out of control even if it is by calling me a Muppet and giving me a hug.

Do moths fly out of your wallet when you open it???

You can't moan about a fiver a month for the amount of sport they cover 24/7!

Unlikely, I'm a 'cash is king' kinda guy so it gets a fair amount of abuse

And if I gave a flying fig about football it'd be the deal of the century, as it is I only got it for the MotoGP, so I'll go back to watching the highlight on ITV4 as they include 90% of the main race

I think that it WAS part of the ceiling, hence the "balls" ;-)

Did someone come down through it? or did it come down on its own?

Looks like the ceiling did a dump in your toilet. Ho ho ho.

(That's savage. I have experienced the same. It's horrid. Hope you get it sorted soon!)

Had an interview for a great job in London all booked tomorrow. Paid around £60 for the train ticket and was ready to go. Get a phone call 20 hours before the interview was meant to start to say the interview has been cancelled as they have filled the position. Couldn't even be bothered to wait a ****ing day to see if I was a better candidate. Now I'm trying to get them to pay my expenses back for this massive level of unprofessionality.

University exam results. All really high. But one of my modules is missing and one is a total fail. Admin office isn't answering calls. Playing devil's advocate if I did genuinely fail that exam I have less than a week to prepare for a penalised resit.

I'm not a football fan either. It's worth the fiver to me just for the Moto coverage, especially now they've actually split the race programmes into categories, making sky+ recording much easier.

The other sports on there, are purely bonus viewing.

On the 7 of next month I am having my 'bugle' split. The difference I suspect is that I will be under a general anaesthetic at the time.
