No problem mate. My grandad died of a stroke brought on by Alzheimer's. What makes it worse is the helplessness. When they pass and you couldn't have done anything. I think it makes it a little more difficult.

    tl;dr: Fatigue. :(

For context, I have both migraine (that resembles a stroke) and cluster headache (People might be curious about what cluster headache is, so here's a handy website*: https://ouchuk.org/). I have had migraines most of my life and cluster headache for two years. Confirmed diagnoses of me having both came in December 2014 (most think it's not possible to have both, but it's just a rarer possibility).

I've managed to sort out the clusters, but the migraines have been evading me because the medication that stops the clusters doesn't really stop the migraine (and I can't use the beta blockers I *was* using for migraine if I'm using the cluster headache treatment). I've recently finally managed to start another migraine preventative alongside the cluster preventative, so hopefully things will be better soon, but today's the first day in about 10 months when one or the other hasn't been beating me up in one way or another, and I'm so tired.....

So, excuse the ranting/moaning, but I just want things to be normal again. Suicidal thoughts (from the pain of the clusters and the debilitation of the almost constant migraines) are not pleasant things to have to talk yourself out of. :(

*Migraines are simple enough for people to understand what they are (I think), so I'll just leave that as a known thing. ;).

On the subject of BT's Fibre rollout. On Friday our cabinet was finally turned on (having been told many times it was scheduled to be done before Christmas 2014).

Our property is too far from the cabinet to get fibre. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Another few years of 2MB/s I guess....

A few years a go a car hit the telegraph pole and brought down all the lines, BT replaced all the lines except ours, stating we'd have to pay £6000 for them to close the road so they would put the line back.

    This is Bollocks because -

It doesn't cost £6000 to close the road [It's £1200 per day to have a road officially closed, and on no planet would it take 5 days to do]
    It's not a road it's a back lane.
It's not our fault some numpty decided to wrap his car around the pole.

So we told them to do one, luckily we're in a decent VM area but for fixed-line internet/phone it's currently them or nothing.

4AM start for a morning meeting in Amsterdam. It was cancelled whilst I was in the air. I'd be more annoyed if I wasn't so tired.
