Pure utter pointless. Can only've be designed to make it as difficult as possible to pay the correct amount, and as such make as much money as possible...

    Yep.
Had an awesome day back in work after 10 days off, everyone walking on egg shells, am mostly amused by it!

    1) I'm sorry. That sucks. I'm not going to project what I would do on you, but hopefully it's all officially over soon (unless you want otherwise).
    2) Thank goodness it isn't yours. I'd hate to think of a custody battle on top of everything else. This will make for a cleaner break (If that's what you do).

Thought that myself, her family are so overbearing it'd be a knightmare to
    be involved.
Hoping this'll make the divorce easier.

Really sorry to see you go through this. It will no doubt be hard going for a while but once its over and done with you can focus on getting your life back on track. Do you already have any kids with your wife?

That's a rough situation - I can't begin to imagine how I'd feel if my wife did that.

I hope you can make a clean break without being rinsed - as said, her pregnancy may well improve your standing in divorce proceedings. Sorry to sound a bit mercenary, but that's how these situations tend to play out - nice guys finish last.

No kids, no mortgage, bit of debt but not worth the argument.

My personal injury solicitor said he can't give me proper advise but has said the claim is in 2 parts, the impact on me personally and future issues and then the affect to everyone else who supported me, she should only have a claim on that and gladly there isn't much to that but I'll be seeking proper advise closer to the time.

The upside to this is it's given me confirmation there is no hope at all at any reconciliation, if even to me friendly.

Feeling rather odd today touch sensations a bit weird and my skins tingly plus a nice headache.
Also got an apology about an order I placed which was delayed. They said they would refund me the delivery cost, which is nice but its free delivery anyway so its a completely hollow gesture!

Goldstar, bad as it sounds her being pregnant and being the one that strayed if anything helps you. Sounds horrible but its the way things are now. hopefully it will go through quickly without too much pain so you can get back on track.

Received my ordered wooden blind which was around half the price of my local supplier. Fitted it looked great really matched the new kitchen units, except it is 7mm less wide than I ordered. Can live with that. But it is 40mm to long and as that means it lies rather awkwardly on my sink unit this is not acceptable.
So I contacted the company asking how the height could be so wrong as the component parts must be machine made and not hand made.
Anyway I had to take two images one showing both ends of a tape measure and another showing a close up of actual size which was tricky and i have a decent camera although a pretty lousy photographer so how to folk who just have phones as their camera is a puzzle.

Well finally bit the bullet and went to the local quack... and after being told the earliest i'd get an appointment was the 11th [!], I might as well have not bothered...

Would rather not waste a+e's time with it but i would like to eat something vaguely solid and/or sleep in the near future...

No walk in centre that you can go to?

Waiting 8 days to see a doctor sounds like a fast appointment to me, I can wait up to a month easily to see one at out local surgery. Too many patients and too few doctors, and they're STILL advertising for new patients...

The Walk-in centre is part of the local hospital's a+e.... and local GP surgery is going down the tubes anyway, the just seem to be waiting for the inevitable closure...

I've spent two days trying to word my frustrations in this box but i simply can't explain them without writing paragraphs of cryptic gobble de goop.

I can't even seem to catch a satisfying breathe anymore, it feels like the norm i'll just have to learn to live with it.

Apparently because staffing is low i have to travel 80 miles earn a measly £30... including the travel time I would of earned about £30 in 7 hours.

I never had a issue with travelling and helping out until my boss gave me a full on lecture on being 1 minute late.

Went to Dagenham on Wednesday evening for a meeting on Thursday morning.

In the morning, as I was getting ready to check out of the hotel, I found a used pregnancy test in the bed! :eeek:

Speaks volumes about the diligence of the cleaning staff, doesn't it?

I went frikkin mental at the duty manager.

The test result was negative, by the way.
