I once fell asleep on a bed that had a live-bladed scalpel in it. And I'm on anticoagulation therapy. Nothing happened, again.

It was a kingsized bed, and I'm not in the habit of stripping the bed upon entering a hotel room (although that may change) - the place looked tidy and didn't smell funky.

If they missed that though, what else didn't they do and wtf was I lying in?

Obviously, they are refunding the cost of the room. Even so, I left them a doozy of a review.

Trying to get my head around a request.

User is unable to open the 50-100 IE tabs required for their roll. Also when they have as many open as they can, notepad is slow to load.

What in the hell kind of job needs that many tabs!

One of the guys where I work is like that. Basically he would source info on the web for whatever he was working on. Then never close that tab. So the tab count grew and grew.

Brilliant site that had to look at it from home it's blocked at work

I can see why for research purposes but a call team manager in Poland doesn't need that much. I left some software on their anyway to give me a list of urls they go to an I'll keep an eye on the instances of IE, should be fun!

Email from my manager as he leaves wanting to know why from Jan to Jul ive not resolved as many faults as anyone. an then last month I could.
Basically accused me in the email of being lazy and insinuated ill be on a performance contract.
He hasnt mentioned the fact since November last year ive been working on a project in for another division. I can see me handing in my notice tomorrow I could rant on but to be honest theres no point.

Confront him face to face why this issue wasn't raised earlier and why he feels the need to make threats. If that doesn't resolve it and his email is against company policy then I'd ask to take it higher to his manager.

Does your company have a structure ie verbal warning, written etc?

Hes using the companies warning policy, this is one of those fact finding meetings they do to basically say your under performing and were putting you on a personal improvement plan. They will use the meeting as a verbal warning and outline if I dont completed set objectives in a given period it will be reviewed which would be the second verbal and then the final meeting would be used as the written.

Trouble is I'm not under performing I'm the only one on my team doing project work and BAU. Basically I see this as a wakeup call to get out. Because my project is not part of their business division its seen as unimportant but today alone I had the project manager and two reps from the company at my desk trying to figure out a problem.

Present the facts, ask them how they would prefer that you prioritize your work, start looking for a new job.
