Ah sure you might as well go down. If nothing else you'll see your taxes at work. They might even fix you.

If I wanted to see where may tax went [well my council tax at least] I'd go into the local Tesco... there and into the councillors' back pocket :/

Apparently when we moved in EDF didn't note down our readings which I provided when I first opened our account so just had to spend a hour though chat getting the read price which happened to be £600 lower meanwhile the advisor was acting like he was doing us a favour rather then just putting his colleagues error right :/

British Gas acted pretty much the same when they used the phrase 'gesture of goodwill' when the repaid monies which were owed to me when they 'forgot' to transfer credit remaining on a PAY meter to a credit meter when we changed meters recently.

That phrase was like a red flag to a bull and I complained about the use of the phrase and the lack of apology but as far as BG is concerned as I have got the money back I have no complaint. Wrong.

Guy came around yesterday from SSE. Nothing wrong with that, right? Except that we'd just paid a bill, so why would this engineer need to check our meters? My mrs. thought exactly this and had a massive raving go at me, thinking that he was dodgy and we were going to get f****** burgled or something, like he was 'casing the joint'. She's so paranoid sometimes, it's ridiculous.

I called SSE and they said it was because they need a proper reading every 6 months, and we've been paying estimated bills.

    ****ing Customers.

You bend over backwards to build something bespoke for someone who turns out to be an ungrateful, over-entitled ******* who overran installing them as they are incompetent.

On the one hand i am grateful despite the circumstance, discomfort and general shitiness of the situation and yet i still wonder : like whoever discovered milk, who found out about this **** working and what did they think they were doing?

Man i have to work for 8 days in a row when I'm contracted for 5 days a week. So our week starts on Sunday which is fine... It just completely bombs me out working for so long yano and i believe after such a period my mind just becomes null and i start feeling like a robot and start making silly mistakes.

Talked to my boss to give in my notice. Asked to give 7 weeks as it would suit me and he said it was fine (I wanted to give them lots of notice). Came back to me and said you have to be out in 3 weeks. Just means I won't be working for a month now.

In other news I'm moving to London and my wage is nearly doubled so yay me.

Gotta love having family visit from overseas...

Aunt decides to phone her daughter in South Africa using my landline without asking, ends up chatting to her for 45mins/1hr. I wouldn't have minded if she'd asked as I could have done the call for 4p/min. Now I'm facing a bill for a single call of £50-70

My MGTF has decided to start letting in some water just aft of where the top of the window meets the a-pillar. I'm 100 miles from home in a hotel with no 'under cover' parking spaces and no tools :( Here's hoping I don't have a swimming pool in the drivers footwell tomorrow morning or a door full of water :( :'(

The hood is soaking wet, even duck tape wouldn't stick to it. Have done what I can by parking to make the water flow down the glass and if it's a swimming pool in the morning I'll deal with that then. Rain has lessened a bit and forecast to stop around 2am...
