You know that number you call then play the music down your phone to find out the name of the song.... what is it?

Is that an offical rule? I'm not sure I'd agree, If it has parts and keeps me interested then I'd consider it a song, and all songs are music. Like I consider most Nine Inch Nails instrumentals to be songs. And where do you draw the line? what if a song has one word through the whole piece, is it still a song? I'm starting to think I should stop thinking about this
Disagree with this strongly. edit: But it seems that the dictionary disagrees with me, nonetheless, I shall continue to call pretty much any short composition of music a song, it feels like it fits as well as tune.
Hmm take into Consideration Beat Boxxing (sp?) no words in it, but its using vocals so technically the person is singing it
If its a service you call then it won't be, if its a website, then it'll be ad-supported or subscription based.
