Was looking through Curry's for an LCD TV and saw some that had the standard PAL I for the tuner and others have DVB-T. Both say they receive Freeview channels but what is the actual difference between the two standards?

Had a search on Google but can't find any info that mentions the differences.

    Thanks for any help.

PAL is the colour encoding system, but I would imagine they're using it to indicate the tuner recieves analogue broadcasts as well as the digital (DVB-T).

DVB-T2 means it will recieve Freeview HD but I don't think any TV's have those tuners built in yet.
    DVB-S is a Freesat tuner.
