One time I ran into this old lady in the metro because I was busy reading my flyer thing, I was on vacation so I never saw her again, but she was really baffled at what I had done and started moaning and complaining about children. That's when I walked away. Isn't this thread supposed to be about stuff on your consience, not about when you played some prank? lol.
I think it's more that if your shotin people with an air rifle you can actually hurt them quite badly (I dont care how good a shot you are) Making homemade explosives is only bad if your using it to put other people in danger, if you just blow it up, say in the middle of a field then its ok as the only person your likely to hurt is you (and the friends that were also willing to be there)
in a word yes, enless your very stupid, the explosion you make will be small, a loud bang, mabye enough to destroy the hand of the person making it. Normally making say thermite (one of the most dangerous to other people things you can make, and really great fun!) shows a degree of knowledge in chemestry, hopefully some physics too. The worst thing that happens with thermite is it gets blown onto something else, so the person making it looses an arm. The .22 caliber air rifle i normally use for whacking vermin, rabbits or something thats legal + tasty, will happilly kill something at 800 yards. Okay i'm using good lead free pellets, specifically designed to smash through the skull of something, and leave, making a smallish exit whole. At 800 yards, the pellet will exit the body of a small rabbit sometimes. Its quite hard to make explosive thats effective at that range, even a nail bomb style thing won't have the properly shapped projectile, and no ones been stupid enough to make things like that (or the're just not talking about it!). A claymore isn't considered effective at anything like that range, infact at 300 yards your out of the 'danger zone', with the kill zone < 55 yards! Making something with the power of 0.7kg of C4 is bloody hard too! I've actually klipped someone in the leg with a .177 from a pistol, i was firing it at a target some 15 meters away, the target was our own design, with a metal plate, at the wrong angle, my friend was standing about 5 meters to the left, it rebounded and struck his leg, the (led?) pellet bounced, and actually drew blood benith demin. Pissing around with explosives is another matter, but even the cow incident was *fairly* safe, it was well anchored, they withdrew to a safe distance.
not for the cow it wasnt i agree with what u said, with an explosive you show some intelligence and so ur probably sensible enough to use it safely. also if something does go wrong, your only gonna injure yourself/those that helped. with a gun you far more likely to hurt someone else/their property
i think we should make a thread about whats on your conscience e.g i killed a cat when i was younger, i feel bad or i robbed a bank and im worried i will get caught
Actually...Probably the most morally reprehensible activity I've been involved in involved rather HUGE sums of money, Items which are difficult to obtain and a practice which, although legal, is almost certain to get you a lot of unwanted attention to say the least... ...won't go into details as I value being able to go about my day as I wish ...that and it involved certain people in 'respectable positions of power'. *n
being a man-ho actually is illegal btw i once stole a one penny sweet from windsor Safari park, felt very guilty and have been a good boy ever since
Withdrew???? You didnt see the size of the dam Coffee can! We ran like f**kers!!! Anchored??? It was in a hole! Guess I'm still in the lead though I'm glad to see I wasnt all that bad a kid, compared to some others on here. I've never done anything that is illegal, illegal. Like burglery, or GBH, or anything bad. Law wise the worst thing I did was either the windows (and we didnt know it was going to be that big - Ignorance is not an excuse though!), or the hacking.
LoL I think he means the legally worst thing. And the worst moral thing. I remembered that one time when we were pretty drunk and drove home on bikes, I kicked a few side-view mirrors. Luckily most stretch a long way. That was a bit over the line, I feel. But as been sed, these are all things while growing up. Not like really 'bad-things'. Never beat up anybody.. Stole things.. etc.. L
The next time I see a thread on these forums slagging off "Chavs" for their violent/destructive/aggresive behaviour I'm going to be reminding everyone about this thread... Sam
ohh radio station had something like this going on, people called up in the morning to talk about stupid stuff they did as kids wrapped aluminum foil arround his hand, dunked it in kerosene, lighted it and ran arround with an aerosol can and a flaming hand rode arround neighborhood with friends wering bandoleiers (sp?) of darts (sharp ones) and throwing them at eachother playing houdinni (sp?) by tying tying up ciblings and throwing them into ponds hehehehe all I can remember
