Drinking with the tramps outside the Civic Centre and then popping in to the pound shop for some knick-knacks and curios.

Haha well maybe a little :D

I live and work in Reading so I'm not exactly a neutral party.

Feeling glad that you're not in Middlesborough.

There is also Feeling glad that you're not in Stoke-on-Trent.

However Stoke has more places you can visit.

That's true, Stoke has at least 3 places where the hobo's sit drinking

And some monkeys you can go and sit drinking with :thumb: (and no i'm not making that up, well maybe the drinking would be frowned upon)

In Reading you can always go and fight a swan, they've got enough of the bloody things.

The University has some nice grounds you could walk around. There's some nice pubs (the Turks Head on London Road used to be quite nice), but apart from the Oracle shopping centre, that's it - Reading's a commuter town, so no great amenities I'm afraid...

Haha, I just thought of Hot Fuzz, which is why I posted 'pub?'. The truth is, there's f all to do in reading apart from the oracle. I used to live in henley on thames, about half an hour or so from Reading.

Go to Reading station, then get a train to Oxford or London. 30 mins either way...

My ex, you're welcome to do her, dirty slapper!

There's not a lot to do there tbh! And the festival had gone downhill the last few years imo
