My mom's cousin went to high school with Robert James Ritchie (AKA Kid Rock)... she had the opportunity to go to an exclusive party at his house down in Romeo (I live in michigan too), she couldn't go though, because her cousin called about 3 hours before it started, and it takes like 3 and a half to get down there :p Anyways, her cousin and his wife said it was a pretty crazy party, they said that some of the playboy playmates were there, =x (btw, I don't give a damn if you think I am full of it)

Eh, I've got a few things. First, I'm indirectly related to the Queen (yeah, of England, she's my great grandma's aunt), my sister is known through western Canada as the only singing, dancing, nuts rickshaw runner, I've been interviewed on TV before (A-Channel, Saturday news, the camera man saw that I was "interested" in the sheep sheering contest :naughty: ), a good friend of mine was (and still is) one of the main figures in Industrial (****ing classic ****, not this new garbage) whom also has directed/produced/publicized/just generally worked on many films (Hellraiser 3, The Ring, Critters, ect...), whenever I meet a fellow geek IRL I mention my nick and they recognize me from MSN chat (well, at very least one of my scripts), I've been on the radio a few times, I single handedly was the cause of a "no knives at school" policy in a small town :D, I competed and placed second at a Skills Canada competition (IT applications, I.E. office 2000), I've had a few letters published in the newspaper in Airdrie, had a few full length story's published in the newspaper in Airdrie. So all in all, a pretty boring life....

My old man used to work for MTV Europe in Camden, London. When i was 15 he took me and my sister up there for the day to see filming of the Zig and Zag show

The day we were there East 17 were promoting the steam album, and the popular (ahem) girl group Shampoo were there too. We met up with them all, had photos taken, even with zig and zag, w00t!

I was in a scene of the show where zag was being a preacher in a church setup with gospel choir. I had to go up to the stand where he was and be blessed for all my sins. I messed it up 2 times because of laughing too much, but eventually got it right. Zag was saying "Matthew, i clense you of all your sins" etc! My dad played in a scene where he was refereing a match of chess between the puppets, played with fruit!!

I still have signed albums of the bands, and the show on video somewhere.

Quick selection of random (almost) famous connections...

I was Idlewild's Lighting Director for one gig - they told me to 'ease off the strobes'
My dad discovered a new sub-species of termite - "Microtermes Logani" :hehe:
My uncle is Astonomer Royal for Scotland (John Brown). :thumb:
My great aunt (i think) played a main character in 'Carry On Camping' (Betty Marsden?) :D

Oh, and I was once kissed by Craig Charles :worried:
