Where's Scirocco when you need her. She'd love that one!

I dream big. And Italian. Might have to re-do the HUD, though.

:D That Plymouth just cracks me up every time I see it - the rear wing is so unneccesary huge it's so much of a caricature that it's automatically cool and an instant classic. Love it. :thumb:

that Plymouth was built because in the earlier years of NASCAR, you could only race a car body that could be bought as a street car. So, Plymouth made a certain amount of those so they could race the car. When the car first came out no one really liked it. They did not sell well at all. Now they are worth a ton of money though.

    Tricky question this.

    Probably a 1969 Mustang Boss 429.

I don't like super cars and hyper cars (even if I could afford them I wouldn't want them)... they're all ugly and you'd feel like a total knob driving them in reality. I don't like Japanese turbocharged stuff. I don't like light, small engined sports cars. I don't like large 4x4s and SUVs. I don't like large luxury cars. I'd rather decapitate myself than have a Merc or BMW... it's not leaving much really is it LOL.

So yeah... the Boss 9 for me.

I already have my second choice. A nice late model GT.

The reason the Plymouth has a mahoosive spoiler, is so you can open the boot/trunk.

Ooh, that's an interesting choice whisper - I saw a couple at the historic race that came after the F1 at Silverstone... Such a nice noise. :D

The only reason they were on the street at all is because the factory had to sell them or they could not race em.

There were brand new ones still on the lots in 1972. A couple dealers actually stripped off the wing and nosecone and retro-ed them to stock roadrunner form.

A restored numbers matching hemi Winged Warrior is worth the price of a veeeerrrry nice house now days. I saw one early serial number Hemi at Barretts go for over $1M.

    john

    /edit

There is a Satellite station wagon in Aurora, CO with the complete Hemi Roadrunner suspension, hood, engine, dash, and bucket seats. Even has the beep-beep horn. That will haul your groceries.

It's a car with three tits.

... one sits behind the wheel. :D

For me it would be a nineties Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Maybe I should build another Geo Metro(Suzuki Swift) drag racer/street machine?

This one is nice. Totally impractical - maybe that's why the old one was fun.
