Z-Cars/Holeshot Racing-prepped mini with three Hayabusa turbo engines in it...two in the back and one in the front...4wd, 33/66 f/r split, 1,350bhp...

mkII Ford Escort running a stroked BDA, 6-linked, turreted, discs all round, stripped, caged, forest arches...

mkI GT40 or a GT40 replica. With a blower on top of that lovely big V8.

    Dialynx Audi Quattro.

    Lancia Delta S4.

Jag mkII Saloon with a Meteor tank engine.

    Lamborghini Diablo SE30.

    Audi RS6.

Dream car would be the Ferrari F40

And on a more realistic level a Mazda RX7 Bathurst.

Crikey Penski we have similar tastes!

I would have: (this is DREAM yeah?)

A MkI Escort....tastefully restored with a 2ltr Zetec or similar.

A GT40 in Gulf racing colours.

Moving away from Ford slightly (but not completely):

A Bowler Wildcat- Dakar race spec (you never know when you might find a collosal sand dune in Surrey) with the obligatory MAN Bowler offroad support truck to keep Ken Livingstone happy. I couldn't be an "idiot" if the car was on a trailer!

    DB9....just beautiful.

Caterham 7- Built by me with a 2ltr Zetec.

Mazda RX-7 type RB Bathurst with highly tuned engine, and stock bodykit- not flamboyantly rice!

XJ220 in Metallic dark red- this was the first toy car I got when I was about <yay> high so would be nice to own the real thing.

Makes me sound like a ford salesman- every car there has a bit of Ford in it...with maybe the exception of the RX-7- not sure if Ford owned Mazda when that came out.

Now....off to win the lottery to buy all that.

They make a twin-engine subframe for the back of the mini...and a twin-hayabusa car has been made before...There is probably enough room under the bonnet for a third...

900bhp is probably more realistic though.

Been looking at the Ultima on that site and it's interesting- it says that one engine drives the front, one the rear which is logical. I was of the impression though that to pass an SVA you couldn't have independent engines driving the car? Am I wrong or is the Ultima an illegal project?

i believe there are a number of twin engine road legal cars

I can remember reading an article on a MkIII Golf with a 5.7 up front and a 6.0 at the rear :O

0-60 in 2.8 or something stupid like that

No - they already do 2 engines.

What I said was there is room under the bonnet for a third - You just need the money to throw at it ;)

Do you mean the Dubsport car? They've made quite a few.

VW themselves made a twin-engined Scirocco.

If I could go exotic I would invest in a custom engine all together.... Flat headed boxer 8 with 8L of displacement and high compression and mild turbocharging from quad turbos (two stage kit) And I would fit that beast into a AC cobra and have a fun lil rodster... For a everyday machine I would custom convert a 14L mac truck into a daily driver with more comfortable suspension and more HP under the hood with a profesional transmission and keep her simple....

    Well thats my two cent...

If this was meant to be realistic, I'd moan about how americans love their huuuuge displacement engines ;)

It's only really shifting because of the weight removed in oil reserves...

Makes the world all wonky and lopsided, see?

    :D :D :D
