I have bought and sold things successfully on ebay, but the risk is pretty high and it is very dfficult to get a decent bargain..
ebay someone will eventually pay that much for it, just like every other item on ebay that ends up being vastly overpriced and a rip off by the end of the auction.
That thing's only about 6 months newer than the 3 year old card I'm replacing, surely no one would fall for that.
I've had quite a bit of experence in Ebay sold lots bought lots and lost a few things too one time some guy didn't even send me the product which sucked ass but i've made some money on there selling stuff i've bought else where. Stopped now since some mad lady gave me bad feedback for being late with a payment. So i told her to **** herself
I have used ebay pretty extensively in the past..... about 200 feedback. I've only one bad experience, which to cut a long story short involved me paying £360 for an IPAQ about 18 months ago which subsequently got 'lost' by parcel force! In the finish I got £200 back from the seller before he disappeared I was too late for fraud protection by then Apart from that I've had some real bargains (they are still out there) and learn't from my mistakes. Just make sure to email sellers before you bid on anything with a price of more than £20, if they don't reply promptly don't even bother.... if they carn't be arsed while they're trying to sell what are they gonna be like once they've got your hard earned money? As far as feedback goes, most ebayers will end up with negative feedback at some point - it's just a matter of deciding whether it was left by an idiot or someone with a general complaint! I only have one neg and it was left by someone who was too impatient to wait for his cheque to clear. Good luck and happy bidding
I've only bought a few things but I had to leave negative comment when the object that arrived wasn't the one pictured. Don't know if that's worthy of leaving negative feedback but I wrote it just to warn the seller and any other buyers.
That seems fair enough to me, but if someone tells you they're going to wait 7 days for a cheque clear before they dispatch the item you don't leave them feedback, colmplaing about excessively long delivery times 10 days after you sent the cheque
Ebay ROCKS!!! Ive bought/sold many items on ebay and never really had a problem. The only problem I had is the guy never sent me payment details for some SuperCal I bid on. Their prices and service is generally great. Make sure you look at the seller's rating and all to be sure. They are also way cheaper then most even with s/h
I have bought on ebay a few times, when I can't get what I'm looking for else where at the right price. 1. Never bid unless your prepared to buy it! 2. Set you limit and stick to it how ever hard it is to resist, there will be others. 3.Emails are importanted, treat them as if your phoning a shop? If they are late or do not respond then you wouldn't buy would yah. 4. The higher the feedback the better. 5. Look at the discription and pictures, if it's poor be concerned I do. No pictures either must be avoided. Ubove all never spend what you can't afford to loose. Hope it helps?
"Buy it now" is the best invention on ebay ever! I tend to search the auction for buy it now buttons first. I'm in the process of looking at some nice big kick ass mission speakers on ebay for my room
