I think my favourite all time game is MS. PACMAN that came out in the 80s!! Other 80s games i like are: Donkey Kong,Galaxian,Gyruss,etc........ I love the 80s,i love actual GOOD GAMES!! How about you?
Some of the old games were good fun, especially for the retro music and sound effects. I'm talking Wizards of Wor, XYBots, SmashTV, Robotron to name but a few. These days it's mostly about Team Fortress 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 3 and a few others that I play religiously.
SNES: Donkey Kong, Super Mario Kart. Sega Saturn: Sega Rally Championship. Others: The 2D Sonic Games, Half-Life ( All Variants ), World of Warcraft, I bet there's thousands out there, but thats the ones the immediately come to mind.
The Entire Age Of Empires Series. Morrowind(and Oblivion somewhat). STALKER: SOC Crysis(yes.) CIV II AC, Civ Iv. there's too many to count.
Perils Of Willy - Vic20 Omega Race - Vic20 Alien Breed [All] - Amiga, PC and WinUAE Superfrog - Amiga and WinUAE Fire And Ice - Amiga and WinUAE Crysis - PC Hedgehog Launch 1&2 - PC Java Titan Quest - PC [Until Diablo 3 anyway] All these games are gameplay over graphics, fun over form, even Crysis.
I don't really have a favourite at the moment, i suppose Batman AA was the last game that i was really into. A few years ago it would have been bioshock and crysis. Mass effect 2 looks good but i'm not sure if i would like an rpg style game ( i get bored easy ).
Call of duty 4 (only on pc though..) Crysis Star wars kotor Age of empires 1 + 2. Never played that seriously but played it alot when i was a kid. The secret of monkey island, know if off by heart now hahaha. Civilisation 2 (i have vivid memorys of playing this and laughing at the advisors)
Diablo 2 (Before all the hacking and duping) Warcraft III (Dota) and Warsow if I could ever play a FPS game without getting motion sickness in 30 minutes.
I can't narrow it down to one, because my gaming experience goes back almost 30 years. Some favourites are: Combat (Atari VCS) Adventure (Atari VCS) Elite (BBC Model B) Alien Breed (Amiga) A-Train (Amiga) Civilisation (Amiga) Shadow of The Beast (Amiga) Alien Breed 3D (Amiga) Quake (PC) Quake II (PC) Myst (PC) MS Flight Simulator (PC) Half Life 2 (PC) Counter Strike: Source (PC) WoW (PC) That's based on how much time I spend, or spent playing them. There have been too many games to list that impressed me, that for one reason or another, I never played as much. This list is not based on graphics, or sound, or technicalities. Purely how much time I spent playing them... which is the only true measure for me.
