    I'm a GM man baby! Ford is a close 2nd though. I see you didn't list Mopar, any reason?

    Jeep/AMC (I don't care what you say AMC is still alive! </denial> )/Chrysler...
    of course that's not for ALL models... For instance, I would never EVER consider driving a PT Cruiser or a Jeep Liberty...

    Of course if I had real fundage I would probably go european... Mini, BMW, Aston Martin... :naughty:

    The reason the poll was edited (I'm guessing, it wasn't me..) was because you didn't imply you were only interested in responses from US people.

    Over here, most people's choices would be 'neither'.

    FYI...

    Ford owns the following brands...
    - Ford (duh)
    - Lincoln
    - Mercury
    - Mazda
    - Volvo *
    - Jaguar *
    - Land Rover *
    - Aston Martin *

    * Sorry UKers, Ford did buy those last 4 brands a few years back


    Mopar has the following...
    - Dodge
    - Chrysler
    - Jeep

    So technically, the poll option should be Mopar and not just Chrysler.

    My point was that UK types wouldn't be too bothered by a US company holding major shares in a Swedish company.

    The only bad thing to come from Ford's ownership of Jag/AM et cetera is the extent that parts bin-raiding has affected the design of higher end cars.

    If you buy a DB7 you don't want it to have bits of Mondeo in it :/
