Windows where are firefox bookmarks

    where are firefox bookmarks? where is the file?

    i want to move the ones from IE to firefox but don't want to do it one by one

    you get the option when installing firefox to import settings from another browser.

    or file -> import
    but they're stored in your profile
    something like
    c:\docs+settings\username\app data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\something\bookmarks.html

    if you go to manage bookmarks and then file -> export you can export that file to wherever you want tho :)

    Um no. It should just give you a html file you can save anywhere you want...

    what File->Import then find the favorites then move them over but you can only click one at the time

    1. Export all your Favorites as a HTML file from IE.

    2. Import into FF from FF.

    Or get freeware Bookmark Bridge to keep IE & FF synchronised.

    well i just re-installed firefox and its done the job but thanks anyway
