where can i get a couple 300-500W electric motors that mount to a horizontal surface in the US? I'm going to be buying some soon and i can only fnd them on eBay, like this one here: http://tinyurl.com/ljdbf

i would like a store to bookmark that has a steady supply of them, especially since its rare to see a couple of the same make and model, and if it doesn't work i'd be SOL.

    thanks

The Motors Forum is for motor vehicles, eg. Cars, Bikes et all.

This should be in electronics :)

These motors are designed for scooters, the OP wants to use them for an electric car by the looks of it.

i was looking for a motor, i thought motors referred to all motors. sorry.

that SC300 motor from oatley is sweet, i wish they were american, shipping from australia for a pair would be a biatch, especially with all those deadly stingrays in the water (yeah, i went there).

captainslug, NPC is a great company. i wish i had the cash to afford their motors, they're worth it. their cheapest motor is $72 and it's too long for my purposes. i just need to win the lottery huh?

the SC300 kind of motors never have a brand name associated with them, it makes it difficult to track them down to onine stores with steady supplies
