    You can't just buy that.

That's a custom built pc, by hand. Looks like there's 3 cards in triple SLI, probably 580s.
Looks like a ROG board, probably a maximus IV extreme, with Corsair Dominator GT memory and a custom watercooling loop.

Um, he can "just get it". Kinda.
    If he's in the US.

There. But um, it's in the US. :)

It would also be cheaper to do it yourself, or even, if you have the money, ask a reputable modder/builder on BT if they
would like to build it for you for a bit of £££.

And the stuff that DS do themselves you wouldn't have. I dunno what that is though, the lcd screen I guess? maybe. meh.

The LCD screens very pointless, unless it has a sidewindow, and you have the case on the desk next to you all the time so you can see it.

But other than that, you'll save £1000 building it yourself probably. Getting someone like scan or overclockers charge a premium for such a service, most of that is the postage involved.

Seriously? That's a load of Bull****. That's such a rediculous price, I would only pay that if they handmade the case for me.

I would want a 2TB 6gb/s drive for that price, they're only £150 over here at the moment.

    Only?
    A normal HDD shouldn't be much more than £100. My 2TB was £80 :/
Unless you go for the super fast raptors and stuff...

Well with the hard drive crisis, i've notice a rise in the price of even the highest hard drives.

    You'll have to make it yourself. It's apparently a custom PCB job. Probably something like this;

I know but time is money and postage for a rig like that would be outrageous.

Have no idea about the LCD though

It's not been that long, the similarly hideously priced Scan Jellyfish uses TEC coolers.
