Cases Where can I find a Soldam Altium Z3000 case?

I'm very interested in the Altium Z3000 case *see below* - but I'd be flexible, all their designs are nice.

I want one of these cases. My problem is that there are absolutely no suppliers here in North America.

If there anyone out there that can guide me to a source that can ship overseas?

Better yet, is there anyone willing to buy this case on my behalf and then ship it to me?

Very interesting looking case, Langer. It's likely out of my price range, but it would be rather neat to have one to fondl... er fiddle with.

Have you tried writing the manufacturer? (us_customer@soldam.co.jp) If they can't sell to you directly, perhaps they will give you the name of a distributor.

 

The smaller one is about 95,000yen.

 

95,000 yen? f***! you could get one engineered out of titanium for that price! are you sure its not 9,500 yen

 

Very nice looking cases. Look a little like Lian Li products.

I wouldn't doubt either price... some of the Cooler Master painted cases are about $800 or so, and these do look really nice...

 

You need to get them direct from Japan IIRC. There is someone on XS who can help you, he has like 8 of the blighters.

 

I will hunt there then. I'm prepared to order from Japan.

yea these cases have to be got in japan as the company doesnt hold the licences to sell or send these cases to other countries due to approval by CE or whateve the US version is.

 

i would imagine the case temps would be extremely good, studying those pics.

They won't ship it themselves to the US. You need someone to act as the go between. Also someone was selling one on [H], don't remember which model though.

 

Haha no problem Oreon, I know it's a ludicrous price... but I want what I want. It would be a very unique starting ground for another epic case mod.

Burnout - I'll never give up on Prometheus. I have a vision and I'm sticking to it - that's just making it take longer.

Rocket - Thanks for the tipoff - I've actually contacted several Japanese friends. The trouble is that the model I want - the full tower - is no longer in production, so I'll have to get 2nd hand or old stock.

I found the guy on [h] and it appears to still be for sale. Its not the full tower that I want but its my 2nd choice.
I offered him more than the asking price. I hope it's still available

But just so you know, for the model you are interested in, you are looking at 800 + in cost.....I have two VR2000's on order right now (one SOJ and one Mediterranean), but those are close to $1100.00 each in US, as they are both limited runs.
