Hey Hey! The title says it all really! does anyone know where i can find bi-colour blue&red LEDs in the UK? or even cheap RGB ones? Thanks, RoB
Rapid Electronics do some RGB ones. I have two codes : White diffused casing - 56-0670 Water clear casing - 56-0675 Both are 5mm diameter LED's. I don't have a link on their website but I'm sure you can find them with the order codes above.
No sorry dude, not that I know of, hopefully someone else on here will know. I'm sure they are avaiable somewhere in the UK.
cool, could you let me know some prices etc? I may not buy them striaght away im, not quite sure how many i need yet! Thanks, RoB
By an extreme coincidence I got a Sunbeam PWM controller in today (although called a Rheobus it is NOT a rheobus) and they use red/blues that are very bright. And they are easily removed and replace by a standard tri-led??
that could be cool, im only trying to find out where i can get bits from before i start my project after exams! I think im gonna need rgb for lighting and a few red/blues for indicators, and ideas on prices? Thanks, RoB feel free to mail me if its easier needsahaircut (at) hotmail.com
Maplin have some really nice multicolour ones that should do the job nicely-- they can transmit every kind of light in the visible spectrum
hey Oclocker, Any chance of getting those LEDs now? I think ill need about 4 RGBs and 2 or 3 Red/blues? Can you please let me know how much they would cost and where to send a cheque to! Many thanks, RoB
