I am looking for a shroud for a BIX II and no matter where I go I can't find a decent solution. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Cooling Works makes single 120mm shrouds that fit the BIXtreme and BIPro. You might be able to use 2 of these, but you might not. I heard something about cooling works coming out with a shroud for the BIX2, but i havn't seen one yet. I'd keep an eye on the coolingworks website or just fabricate one from sheet metal. You would need something to bend the metal though.

The BIP and BIX radiators already have a small shroud built into them. Sure its only maybe 1/4", but that is enough to draw air across all the internal fins of the BIP.

Actually it is 4mm. Really not sufficient for a shroud. But you can make one yourself quite easily. Somewhere at the beginning of my project log it shows how to ake an aluminium one for a BIX, and this can be applied to a BIX2 as well.

Thanks for everyones replies but it looks like I have another problem. I got my stuff today and upon opening it I realized the box containing the radiator says "pro 2 w/fitters" Now that gives me the impression that they sent me the wrong radiator. Is there any other way to tell this is what I ordered, or do I just have to wait till they are open tomorrow and call them?

    A Pro 2 is indeed different from a BIX2. A BIX2 should be 4.5cm deep. A Pro2 will be thinner.

It is definately a pro. I called Danger Den today, they told me they would ship out the correct part tomorrow morning. Hopefully this will all just be a minor setback.

Bummer! But atleast you got the screw-up out of the way right off the bat so it should be smooth sailing from here on.
