    see Ft. Collins, CO means nothing to me. i have nnooooo idea about the US states at all hence why i created the thread.

    and to answer the original question:

    i'm down here in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, Colorado .

    if you're looking at a US map, Colorado is just west of center, one of 2 completely rectangular states, the other rectangular state above it is Wyomimg
