Normally i shop at bookers the cash n carry, but my car driving housemate is on holiday, and the only person i know with a car here atm, i don't wanna invite to this very closed party.

So who do u order urs from?
I like my international Largers, such as Budvar, Hogaarden etc.
    www.lastorders.co.uk is expensive
    tesco is too pikey.

open to sugestions, preferably as cheap as the cash & carry!
(someone here must of done this too much).

The tesco near me has got an amazing choice of beers, pretty much 2 whole isles worth and an end bit where they have their special offers. They had a deal on Peroni not long ago. That stuff is beautiful.

Pikey or not, Tesco rocks for drinks but I suppose it depends on your local. I've been into a Bookers cash + carry before. That was full of pikeys stocking up on unhealthy food.

erm bookers changed abit in the late 90's its now buisness only people.

So its store owners, hoteliers etc. Problem is can't afford to take cab their n back, getting 2-4 crates back would just be unthinkable, and i'm a cheapscape so don't wanna pay the outragious tesco prices.

Majestic might be an option thou, but its still £20 for a crate of budvar, and silly price for hoegaarden!

i think i will just do a bring ur own drink :p its only a small party ne way (about 10-15 of us just finished doing a mini-summer school thing).

You made 5 mistakes in the title of this thread!

By essentials do you mean bulk buy stuff? Essentials to me is stuff like bread and milk :p If we do go bulk buying then it's to the local cash and carry place.

Tesco normally always have 24 x 330ml bottles of Carlsberg Export or 300ml Grolsch for under £14.

There are some can deals too.

tbh we should have a sticky in the bargin part, let peeps see what drink is on offer!

(esseintals such as bread + milk, bacon + eggs, are soo vital i never let them slip, but beer, is still essential, just too expensive to keep such a large stock off all the time).
