I want to go see the new Star Wars film but my local Showcase is a dive so I'm trying to find a decent cinema. Hopefully not too far away which means near Cambs or in London would be good.

I have looked for THX certified ones but none of the ones I can find are showing the film, they tend to be "art houses".

Any ideas where I could go?

There is a good cinema in Peterborough on Broadway which I normally go to but they aren't showing it for some reason. That place is cool, it has a massive screen, excellent sound system and it's quite plush inside. And they let you buy beers in the restaurant next door + take them in :D
