I am about to buy an Iwaki MD30RZ pump. I know the pump is specified to run better at 60Hz than the UK 50Hz mains standard.

Anyone suggest the best and easiest way to supply a compatible 60Hz feed?
    If it is indeed possible...
Is a simple UK to US travel adaptor sufficient?
Are they simple step down transformers? If so, they will not change frequency..
Will the pump I buy come with a US style connection, although it is UK purchased through Iwaki? I have not asked...

Maybe where to buy a suitable device?

Any issues to be aware of? Amateurs like me need advice when flirting with electrical tinkering!! :worried: :nono: :jawdrop:

    THANKS :)

    Waste of money

It would be very difficult and expensive to up the frequency to your pump, way more than the cost of buying a stronger pump and then some. You may see some benefit from running over volted but that is not really a good idea with a component that you absolutely don't want to fail.

Essentially live with it or buy a higher rated pump.
