That's a lovely looking deskspace. I'll try to take some pictures of mine as it is, currently using an Ikea Frederik: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40111124/ Bought off of these very forums for a lot less than that
thanks. like i said it was super simply to build and was pretty cheap for the size of desk i ended up with. Plus it was an excuse to use the power drill i also got that day
Just noticed, see the corner desks from IKEA, one corner seems to be 80cm deep and the other 60cm. I'd need them to both be the same as I want the desk to be the same depth all the way around =/ Anyone confirm that?
I can't confirm it, but I think you're right. Something else to look out for is the legs, I think only the T-legs will allow you to push your desk back against the wall (I can confirm this as I have a 160cm x 80cm Ikea Galant with the T-legs fitted), the other legs (A-legs??) stick out past the edges of the desk stopping you from doing this I think.
I wanted to go for T legs anyway. If they aren't the same depth at both edges then it's no good since it's for two workstations, not one and additional stuff (printer, NAS, router etc.)
(P.S. The corner bit it pretty much for putting the computer on the desk, or if it ends up going under, then well... nothing. I don't like having the computer in the corner, weird I know, just doesn't seem right. Tried it in halls and the computer went there and the monitors on the large straight of the desk.
