    Hi People

    Anyone got any ideas when the finished Service Pack 2 will be released for Vista x64??

    I thought I heard a couple of months ago that it wouldn't be much longer, but I may have been mistaken though.

    Vista SP1 came out a few months ago. You can download it by running windows update. What are you expecting from SP2?

    SP2 will be released when it's ready.

    * Windows Search 4.0 (currently available for SP1 systems as a standalone update).
    * Bluetooth 2.1 Feature Pack supporting the most recent specification for Bluetooth Technology.
    * Ability to record data on to Blu-ray media natively in Windows Vista.
    * Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify Wi-Fi configuration.
    * Improved support for resuming with active Wi-Fi connections.
    * Enables the exFAT file system to support UTC timestamps, which allows correct file synchronization across time zones.
    * Support for ICCD/CCID smart cards.
    * Support for VIA 64-bit CPUs.
    * DirectX 11

    ;)
