    Someone just said to me 'life's fine considering the alternative' - I know it's a quote from a film, but which one?

    Small but causing me great mental stress :wallbash:

    I belief this is not just a quote from a film but acually a rather famous quote.

    IanW is right, It's a misquote of Maurice Chevalier, it's in the Oxford Dictionary of Modern Quotations.
