    As title, for my new audio system (sorry!) i've decided i also need a new TV as the big CRT style on is huge (in the wrong way!) and looks out of place. I'd ideally like 32" but 28" would do, Any bigger than 32" would be a bonus. Not too fussed about make as such, aslong as its reputable. I'd like to be able to connect it to my PC altho its not a necessity, and it must be able to connect to my Amp; Tho i guess the headphone port would suffice if the TV is good enough. being able to attatch to the wall would be cool too as it would save a packet on the stands (Can't believe how expensive some are)HDTV would be cool too altho once again not a necessity. Please, UK only items, and if possible please link to the recommended item. Thanks

    I would visit www.avforums.co.uk there is a lcd section but I believe many like the samsung for £750, I believe its the same as the one used by microsoft to demo the xbox 360.

    But it's not in the price range, all the prices I see are in the £1,000s.

    EBuyer = £699.94

    Comet = £719.97

    Currys = £719.97

    btw, the £xxx.97 price of Comet/Dixons/Curries/PC World usually means it's the last few in stock they're wanting to clear.

    Just been to Comets and had a look at the huge selection of LCDs and plasma screens and spotted a HUGE 50" screen! this thing is ENORMOUS! Can't fricken wait! To put it into perspetive, our TV in the front room is only 28", This thing is almost TWICE the size! trust me when i say love at first sight is real. stupid me didnt get a make/modle tho! going back tomorrow for a "second viewing" tho.

    Edit: And if your wondering, its waaaaaay above budget.

    Funnily enough, no, I wasn't. :thumb:

    Wouldn't bother buying unless it's a Samsung or a Panasonic - two brands I know I can trust when it comes to TV's.

    The one i wanted wasnt in stock for 3 weeks and was on offer from £2k to £1500 but the guy did me a good deal on this one which was supposed to be around £1,800 or somethin but i got it for £1,399 :D

    Oh, and this cash is a small advance on what im due to get when i turn 18 :D :rock:

    I'd set a budget of £1,500 to re-do (decorate etc) my whole room inc TV & xbox 360 but blew the lot on the tv :duh: Still gonna get the 360 in a week or two tho! I blame my mum, If she hadn't treat me to that awesome sound system (so glad she did) i wouldnt have wanted an equally impressive TV to match.

    All i want is the "wow" factor for anyone that comes into my room :rock:
