Storage Which 2TB HDD?

    Well someone in another thread just pointed me (well, the OP in that thread anyway) to a 'today only' offer on scan. 2x2TB Samsung F4s for £107.


    So I'm done, thanks guys. :)

    That's not a bad price, I've picked up 2x2Tb F4s for about $80 each, so $160 total

    Just bought a Samsung F4 2TB. No problems with it and its quiet. All my other drives are Samsung 1TB F3s Plus ive used many of the 500GB versions for friend's and family's computers

    Depends.

    I avoid Seagate drives as I frequently hear that they are unreliable.

    I highly recommend the Samsung SpinPoint F4 EcoGreen 2TB. This drive is good at serving large files. I'm just using it to store all my music and movies.

    And it's nice and quiet too. Now that I use SSDs I don't want ANY hot, noisy HDD in my system!
