For some reason many of the prices for GTX 980 Ti have jumped by £25 - £50 in the past week.

In your boots I'd be tempted to wait and see if the AMD Fury lineup creates some competition to reduce prices back to RRP. I got very very lucky with an early pre-order and managed to order a couple of reference EVGA GTX 980 Ti for around £495 each. Anything above £550 seems a little too much for my taste given they should be selling at that price anyway!

That said! Buying an EVGA makes sense from a warranty and resale perspective and the Hybrid cooler works really really well. I've read a review where a maximum GPU temperature of 50 degrees was recorded whilst the GTX 980 Ti was working. I like the fact the blower is still on the card and cools the PCB. Although one downside is the fact it's only the blower fans speed that can be controlled via overclocking software, unfortunately it looks like the radiators fan has a fixed speed if attached via the GPU. Good value for money though considering what the Hybrid cooler offers. Considering buying the kit myself once I get my reference EVGA GTX 980 Ti cards!
