I'm finally gonna get a BB Gun & I can't decide which one I should get. I just want something to shoot cans off the fence with really. It'll have to be a pistol cos I already have a shotgun so there's not much point getting a fake one when there's a real one in the cupboard! I was looking for something vaguely futuristic, but I can't find one that leaps out at me. I definitely don't want a Desert Eagle cos everyone seems to have them. Any ideas on what I could get?

It is the perfect shooting compliment to those airsofting double agents whose commitment is to the James Bond series. w00t!
Woah! That was quick! Yeah, have checked out those sites. Still can't decide. I've always liked Berettas & the Centurian looks quite nice. Think I'm going to have to pop into Rebel Troop again after work tomorrow. Hehehe... was gonna say the P99 was a bit too James Bond-esque for me! I have just found this though (Beretta M93R - RoboCop): Hmmm...... decisions....
Not sure about that two-tone one though mate I've had mine about 3 years now since they first came out, tis very cool indeed! Very accurate, worryingly ergonomic
man this is freaking me out... I was looking through a Walther brochure the other day and that gun looks just like the real P99!... would you get in trouble carrying one of those around? I could see the cops here in the States having a serious problem with that. A friend of mine and I nearly got arrested in a fast food drive thru window line because we had a plastic dart gun in the car and the drive-thru chick called the police... not even a serious dart gun either, one of those with the rubber suckers on the ends.. not funny at the time but we roared later.... when we were away from the police and no longer technically in thier custody...
can you not have a .22 pistol, or is that banned too? I guess I'm not real big on bb guns, but they can be fun. We had a contest one night, me and my roommate at college. We were drunk. His apartment door overlooked a quiet intersection. The competition would be to open the door quickly, pop off a shot at a chosen sign (we'd hear the *dink* if it hit) and close to door again really quickly. Good times, good times. for "plinking" and knocking down cans I have a tricked out Ruger 10-22 rifle, it's fairly quiet, knocks down cans, and can take care of (or really **** off) the occaisional coyote or other pest. my handgun's a .45, not really for target shooting though
Heh - I've got a few of these - I've got a heavy weight Berretta, .357 magnum revolver (you but the BB's in hollowed out plastic bullets - nice!), and boring old Colt .45 that's got less power than a crippled flea.... Like the look of the heavy weight P99 Angel on my left shoulder: "You really should grow up GOO" Devil on my right shoulder: "NEVER!" P.S. - What's the 'hop-up' system? I'm a bit out date on this stuff.
HOP UP GUNS: Hop up systems or kits do not add power to the gun but rather gives the user the ability to control the spin placed on the BB. Hop Ups only affect the BB after 30 or more feet. Unless you are in an environment where you can shoot farther than 50 feet without the effects of wind, Hop Up versions are near pointless.
It's where the BB has a little bit of topside spin added to it when it leaves the barrel. As such, the BB kinda 'hops' up a bit about 2 thirds of a way along it's flight. Gives it a fair bit more distance.
It's a shame that £5,500 is outta my price-range cos the Vulcon 2001 looks great. This just looks so much fun: http://www.gunshopworld.co.uk/img/prod_img/vulcon.mpeg
i have got this one it is the Laserhawk 4.5mm High Power BB/Air Pistol Chrome (G2005S) it is one of the most powerful soft air guns it has a velocity off 300f/ps. i have had it for a year now and have had no problems at all it has an exelent build quality and i have shot it over 1500 times. the only niggle i have is the laser sight is really a cheaop plastic thingy. if you are really botheredd about the looks then get the one without the sight.() it is not as powerful though, i have had many hours of fun with mine. i am bored of it now. ogh yea while i am thinking about it they have an exelent repair service too, you sent the gun to the company with £10 and they arplace every part of the gun. good luck wuith what ever u buy.
I'm tempted to get myself a blank firing Glock17 and some blanks, and just scare the **** out of the neighbours Oh and they've got my crossman on there; .177 8 shot pistol heavyweight - all metal construction comes in fitted case complete with Crosman Copperhead red dot sight and 3 spare mags. Uses Powerlet cylinder. An air pistol - this is not a bbgun. Lovely :d
