    Hi all!

I'll be purchasing a car within the next few months, and I thought that I'd be able to get great information on which direction to choose here at Bit-tech.net. I've done some research but haven't gone around testdriving the cars yet. I wanted to know what you all had to say about the various cars I'm considering. All of the following cars are 5spd manuals BTW :D:

    1992 Eagle Talon - $3950 CAD / 1899 GBP / $3337 USD
No KMs given, 2.0L I4 DOHC
    Pros:
    - Pretty cool looking car
    - Great quality reviews
    - An American car (not a pro really), but I should be able to find cheap parts
    - My boss has a '91 Talon, so I can say my car is better than hers :)
    - Sporty look and Hatchback -- convenience
    - Has a decent setup, CD player and alloy wheels
    Cons:
    - A tad old?
    - I've heard some things about Talons...
    - Can evoke ricer-like images

    1999 Suzuki Swift - $4950 CAD / 2380 GBP / $4181 USD
    146 000 KMs / 90 720 miles, 1.6L I4
    Pros:
    - Cute little car
    - Great on gas
    - Looks like its in great quality (will have to test drive)
    - Hatchback convenience
    - CD Player
    Cons:
    - Might be a tad small? I'm 6'1" (not that tall really...) but I've had problems getting into some cars and finding a good driving position (like the Ford Explorer, the tilt and horizontal seat position is maxed out on my mom's 2005 Toyota Camry...)
    - Not that much power (I want economy, but some fun too :) )
    - Chicks don't dig Suzuki Swifts? haha...

    1983 BMW 320i - $2970 CAD / 1428 GBP / $2509 USD
    100 000 KMs / 62 137 Miles, 1.8L I4
    Pros:
    - It's a BMW :)
    - Very little miles despite its age
    - RWD :cooldude:
    - Great oldschool looks (and is a coupe)
    - Just awesome...
    Cons:
    - Pretty old, despite its mileage
    - Will have to be careful in the winters (live in the winter capitol of Canada, land of the Igloo...)
    - I've heard questionable things about its fuel economy
    - Obtaining parts should it break down would be a real pain, and could be expensive (being a BMW and all)

    1994 Mazda MX-3 - $4900 CAD / 2356 GBP / $4139 USD
    150 000 KMs / 93 206 Miles, 1.6L I4 (there's some w/ similar price and mileage with the 1.8L V6)
    Pros:
    - HOT car (I really love the looks of this baby)
    - Great fuel economy
    - Fully loaded, CD player, power everything
    - Decent mileage
    - Great interior, potential for great modding (nothing ricer mind you ;) )
    - Not American
    - Hatchback -- practical
    Cons:
    - I've heard things about parts being not cheap
    - Comes in some wierd green colour (though other ones available w/ similar specs come in red or silver :thumb: )

Well, that's all I have to say for now, I believe. I was also wondering how much would it cost to repaint a typical car? It'd be nice to have a car with a good paint job in a nice colour :).

    Thanks all!
