I am thinking about having a 5 PCI slot Parvum made for my Gigabyte board and the problem I am having is deciding on a colour scheme.
I am pretty rubbish when it comes to colour combinations, you only have to look at any rooms I have decorated to realise that. Looks great in my head but on completion and standing back to view I realise that my choices are rubbish.

As I have loads of blue LED fans and other lighting and it is a colour I prefer I would like advice on colour combinations that will be enhanced with mainly blue LED's. I would prefer not to have white as although it probably is the best option it is a colour I would find boring to look at.

To give you some idea of colour combinations though I could, I suspect, choose colour combinations not shown here. If anyone could link to project logs using blue LEDs that would be great.

    Thanks

Id go for black and green would look pretty good with the motherboard.

Then again I like your 540 set up alot :)

So do I it is just I am not as fit as I once was and the 540 is the biggest case I have had for a while. So looking for something smaller and a bit funky rather than the usual blacks or silvers. I have painted or powder coated cases in the past but I have admired the Parvum cases from the start and promised myself I would spend the dosh on getting one eventually. But then I find that the layout of my mobo is going to be a problem as the Parvums only have 4PCI slots. I like the layout of Gigabytes PCI-E slots better temp control and airflow so not keep in swapping motherboard.

Green and black, hmm had not thought of that combination. Cheers.

Definitely worth spending a while thinking about as it may well be a case that you stick with for some time.

To play devil's advocate - if you do go for green and black and then decide to swap motherboards (maybe upgrade to LGA1150 or whatever's next after that) will you definitely want to stick with Gigabyte? That's if they even carry on making green and black motherboards...

(That would look awesome though :p)

To be honest George I did not give the motherboard a thought when I asked for advice. How much of the thing do you actually see. No I am looking for a colour combination that will work well with blue LED fans and lighting.

As for sticking with gigabyte, I think I will be going for a board that still gives me plenty of space between GPU's as I feel more comfortable with that set up.

A bit of a change of mind. I cannot decide between White with Blue or Black with Blue.

    What say you?

    Following this with interest.
I am gearing up for a Parvum ITX at the moment.
I have asked them for a colour list, as I have only seen what's on offer retail so far.

I am looking for white with frosted grey, waiting to see if they can oblige.

Blingy sounds interesting - not seen a Parvum without black or white so far - you could be the first!!!

5 slot mATX will be unique too - room for GPU to breathe I guess.

I think I am going for the white with blue combination. Do not know what shade of blue will need to see what Parvum Systems do.

I had an email from Justin today about colour options at Parvum, as I can't see them definitively listed on their site:

    Matte: Black & White
Frosted: Red, Blue, Orange, pink, green, purple, clear
    Gloss: Gold

So, no grey in stock - maybe white & clear will do the trick

It seems that other colours may be ordered in at additional cost, if a suitable piece is available.

Looks like the standard sheet size is 2x3m, which is a lot to buy in an unpopular colour.

White with blue looks good, there are a couple of builds out there like the one you showed.

Good luck with the final choice
