I need a silent cooler that will fit onto the P35-DS3R. I'm not into OCing or Gaming, so dont need to shift a lot of heat.

I've currently got a Scythe Ninja in my setup, so something as quiet as that would be nice...

    Any thoughts?

Another Scythe Ninja? I'm pretty sure they fit no problem. If you've heard otherwise let me know, I'm considering one for a DS3L but the premium over the £15 AC Freezer Pro 7 puts me off.

I assume I'll need to buy a new mounting bracket for the ninja to change from 939 to LGA?

edit: might be one in the box... thinking about it I've not looked since I installed it!

I have the Gigabyte P35-DS3R and with the stock cooler on a E6750, I can't hear the cooler at all, even when playing games. Try the stock cooler and replace if needed would be my advice :)

I only have two fans on my system, the PSU is silent (under 20db) so anything louder than that is going to annoy me.
