    hi everyone,

I recently built my first computer but looking to upgrade

    current specs are:

    Mobo: H81M-E33 S1150
    CPU: Intel Pentium K Anniversary G3258 3.2ghz
    RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Vengeance Performance DDR3 1600MHz CL9
    GPU: MSI GT 720 2GB
    PSU: Corsair 430W

I am thinking of upgrading the GPU to EVGA GeForce GTX 750 2GB for £105
and upgrading my CPU but unsure what to, I have been trying to play DayZ but it keeps lagging.
I am thinking Intel Core i7-4790 3.60GHz S1150 8MB for £240 but unsure if I want to spend that much in one go.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Murray

An i7 would be totally unbalanced with that system, and pointless for gaming.

If you want a better CPU, the i5 4690 is the far better choice (and cheaper), but with your board you can't overclock so it's the non-K version you need. For GPU, get the 750Ti at minimum, or the new 960.

750ti would pair nicely with your CPU. Around £100 on Amazon. Much faster than the non ti.
