Graphics Which graphics card is better?

I need to know which graphics card to get with my new PC.

Radeon 9800Pro 128MB (TV out DVI)

or a

GeForce FX 5700LE 256MB DDR 8x AGP.

Because this guy said that the radeon wont run latest games because its only 128MB but my mate says he's talking a load of bollocks and the Radeon is better. Can u help me decide who's talking ****?

That's a 5700Ultra GDDR3 versus a 9800 PRO, a 5700LE is considerably slower than a 5700Ultra. There's no competition.

I won't go into detail on why 256MB is a waste on the 5700LE, but you can have a read of some previous threads where this discussion has cropped up...
