Coming into a bit of extra money each week soon, so am contemplating buying a new graphics card, but which 1?? I'm looking at spending £160 max. The GeForce 2 Ti just can't cut it anymore, I've over clocked it as much as I dare.

Am looking at the ATI Radeon 9000 Pro and GeForce 4 Ti 4200/Ti4400.

Wanted a GeFroce 3 Ti 500, but they seem to be as rare as rocking horse cr@p.

lol I was about to make a post about that.

I have two cards to choose from, the Gainward GF4 Ti4200 64Mb or 128MB version, which one is better? Yeah the 128mb version can handle more textures etc, but I have heard it is slower due to the ram timing being slower compared to the 64mb version.

    Any help?

(btw behemoth, the 9000 Pro is slower than the Ti4200 chipset. www.anandtech.com have a good graphics section and have a lot of benchmark comparisons.)

You won’t notice the difference between 64 and 128 except in something like 3d mark.

Id go for the 128 due to some of the games due out soon.
The speed difference will be negligible but the extra memory should help with the texture mapping.

Well it looks like I'll be getting the MSI GeForce 4 Ti 4200, it's by far the cheapest GeFroce 4 card around, although my Dad keeps saying "Have a GeFroce 4 MX" Don't think I'll bother with the MX versions, not much faster than my current card.
