    I havent a clue about electronics really :blush: (all I can do is the soldering iron bit :D ) so I need someone to just give me the right maplins codes.

    I tried using that resistor guide, but Maplins talks about forward reverse voltages and all sorts of rubbish :worried:

    Had my first attempt at modding my boomie 2k, but I want higher power LED's and Im going to change them around a bit.

    So If someone could just post up the codes, obviously its a 5v power supply as its on USB. 5mm and 3mm green LEDs please and whatever resistors they need.

    And if you are wondering

    Let's say you have a LED at 20mA and 3 volts.

    Excess voltage: 5V - 3V = 2V

    What resistor to use:
    R = U / I
    R = 2V / 0,02A
    R = 100 Ohms

    So what you need is a 100 ohm resistor. The color code for these is brown black brown.
