Hey I am currently looking at some Sat navs for my car and seen the tom tom 700 ( next door has it ) It must be from www.halfords.co.uk I have around £400 to spend. Thanks alot Neoki
Highly recomend the TomTom One, had mine for a few months and it's not let me down yet. Edit / shouldn't this be in motors?
Tom Toms are great for getting you to a general area or city. If you want accurate then get a proper map or google maps print out. Either I find every error within the Tom Tom maps for cities along the M4, or it's still buggy as hell.
I've not had a single problem with using my brother's Garmen GPS. It's clear, functional, and hasn't sent me down a wrong road yet. Don't know the model though. AH Edit: It's this one.
http://gps.engadget.com/ I'm sure you've been there. But if not.... Even though the blog will not tell you what exactly to buy for your money, it may give you a good idea of what to look for. I saw few nice models for your budget, Neoki
If I was buying now my money would go on the TomTom One Have a TomTom Go 300 and love it to bits, the TomTom One is better and cheaper - winner I've never had a problem with the maps on the TomTom, it hates nottingham centre but theres been so much messing with the roads here these days that I don't even know where I'm going sometimes. It's always been spot on outside the city though
Got the Tom Tom 700 and it is an amazing piece of kit. Comes with the car adapter and remote, case, car charger and more. It is really good. Now got to test it .
