Ok which of these is most like Microsoft Office:

    Staroffice

    OR

    OpenOffice

Ive got college work (Spreadheets,Word,Powerpoint blah blah) which uses pretty advanced features of the office software so i really need somthing thats as close to MS office as possible when it comes to features. A mate of mine said Openoffice was better but i need a second opinion on the matter. Hopefully if i pass this year ill be useing access next year. Does SO or OO come with an access like program, which similar features? thanks for ne help:)

I've found they are both pretty much the same.. actually OO is built over the SO core.

But here is a (one of many i'm certain) quick comparison charts to give you an overview of thier features.
