Im looking at 2 keyboards the lycosa and lycosa mirror both from razer
The boards are basically the same but have different finishes
Lycosa-rubbercoated antislip black keys and armrest
Lycosa mirror- glossy black keys and armrest
If you have any or both of these keyboards give me some input and tell me of your experinces and which is better

I had the exact same dilemma, I went with the normal Lycosa, reason? Because it has all and more "features" than the Mirror.

since its a keyboard and your fingers are going to be on it all the time, i would go with the normal one.
the mirror may look nice out of the box for the first 15 mins, then your smudgy fingers are going to get all over it,
any way, thats my opinion, happy buying :D

Your saying more features you mean the antislip right
The other day i saw the real one my self it actually did feel good but im worried that little strings and dust will stick on the rubber

Yeah, it's a choice between pube magnet and finger-print magnet by the sound of things.

to semi hijack the thread what other keyboard options are there? I've had a little look around and not found anything uber compelling. The Logitech G11 seemed a decent prospect with a good array of programmable keys.

I play on and have been playing on a Saitek Eclipse (version 1) since it was released about 3 years ago. I am the kind of gamer that can't change setups or get used to new peripherals, so I will probably never change. I love Razer products despite some unreliability and the overpricing, and Logitech can do no wrong in my eyes except with their gaming keyboards. I have supplied Logitech keyboards with PC's before that have not lasted any amount of time in the hands of regular gamers. My brother uses a G11, and tried it a while ago and decided after 10 minutes that I didn't like it. The keys aren't nearly as tactile or hard wearing as those on my Eclipses.

I had my Normal Lycosa for almost a month now and dust sticking on my keys has not been a problem, tho fingerprints have but its very easy to clean (I cant even imagine the Lycosa Mirror.) Dust doesn't stick to the keys because its not the kind of rubber you're thinking about, you can simply blow what ever is on your Lycosa away.

I've had the Black 'n' Rubber since Jan... I picked it because it fitted in to the Black/blue style of all my other bits. (Soothes my OCD.)
I'm happy with it, it can pick up smudges but they're easy to polish off, nice to type on and you can fuss about with the macro if your that way inclined.

The only niggle I've had is the headphone socket would pass through audio with a low hertz interference, I would have thought it's a driver/soundcard issue but as I never use it I never found a solution.
