    Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a new monitor after having moved to the US a few weeks ago. My rig is with me and is now just lacking a monitor.

The biggest question I have is whether it is better to go for a 144Hz 1080P monitor for the refresh rate or a higher resolution with a slower refresh rate of 60 or 75Hz.

Part of me wants the higher resolution but the other part wants the refresh rate.

The other side note is that I use my Xbox One on it as well.

Which would you go for? Have you got any specific recommendations to look at? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I have a BENQ XL2420G, I'm really happy with it after having it for for a year and a bit.

    1080p
    144hz
    G-Sync
    1ms (GTG)

It also has other stuff I played with then forgot about:

    3d vision
    A weird control nob thing

I honestly love G-Sync, have you considered if FreeSync / G-sync is on your wish list?

If it is 144Hz, G-Sync is on the list. :)

Sadly it's both too large and too pricey for me at the moment. :(

Aww that sucks. It's not so bad here at £379. With the current exchange rate that should only be about $430 or so.
