Here's what I did. I filled out the form, and printed it out. Cut out the section of the box that had the serial number and barcode then I stapled them all together, along with my sales receipt (copy). Then mailed the whole lot to the address previously mentioned. So long as all the required items are together in one envelope I wouldn't worry too much.
Agree about the first HL. I didn't like the demo and only bought it for CS. Then I decided to play it last year and was respectful of what it has achieved, but it's a bit dump really. What I've seen of HL2 has got me more interested than first time round and this is number 1 on my list. Gran Turismo 4 is also highly anticipated and will definitely be purchased. There's just something cool about blatting around in a souped up Mazda Demio! And, how cool was the Toyota Levin from the first game? Stalker is another must buy coz the idea of going back into Chernobyl seems cool. Character models look a bit crap but it could be an overall good game. Doom III, 'nuff said, buying it. I'm undecided about Far Cry. Everything in the game seems OK apart from the jump. It's far too floaty to get over crates and things with precision. However, if the map editor is as easy to use as someone above me said it will be, I'll get it. Worldcraft still baffles me And, I don't know when it will be out, but the next Max Payne game probably beats all of the above to be my most anticipated future game. Who else thought Max Payne 2 was bloody amazing? I don't care how short it is, it's worth playing through again just for the pleasure of playing such a perfect game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. WILL OWNZ.. the plot is more amazing than HL2 And D3.. i mean what happened was real too... and the physics will be a shiza load better than what havok can brew up and the maps are more open than the other games if you've looked at all the pics... more variety, i also anticipate doom 3 and HL2 but i want STALKER more..
Yeah but there's like some sort of ghouls or walking dead in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's not exactly real. It's still the one game i look forward to most.
Doom III & Half Life 2 I will buy for sure Haven't heard of the other ones Work & travelling takes up most of my time nowadays so it leaves me hardly any time to catch up on things like this
It's all about the Suzuki Escudo, you can fishtail and drive sideways and backwards around the track, and still win the races. Not to mention running like 300+mph. Now, I haven't played Max Payne 2 yet, cause I was a little dissapointed in the first one. I got about halfway through it, and then I was like "Fudge it, this ain't fun anymore, so I haven't played it since. I suppose I'll rent Part 2 or something, if you think it's worth a play.
i thoeght max payne 1 was much better it wasn't so short and it had new features in a computer game. max payne 2 has nothing really new over max payne 1 and it was much to short
in terms of new stuff max payne 2 doesn't offer much, but the story id pretty good, and should be enought to get you to play it till the end
Yeah I got through the first one up until the part where you have to kill like 13 guys with a baseball bat, and they all have Uzi's and shotguns. Due to an error with my save timing, I had to start each time with about 13% health. After about 2 months of trying to beat that, I finally did, and the rest of it just wasn't worth it.
Wow that sucks kiljoi. You're supposed to kill one or two guys with the bat and kill the rest with the guns off their corpses. You only had one save? Max Payne is like the game i've played through the most times out of all the FPS shooters i've ever had. That game is a classic and the sequel is almost as good. Same gameplay, much better physics and graphics and a great story. It was just too short.
I had liked it up to that point, but after spending like a month on a single part, my interest kind of fizzled out. Maybe the second will renew it?
Max Payne was cool. I never have the chance to get bored with a game. I'm one of those people who will play the game right through only breaking for school... maybe... and food I guess. Story line was great, and the MP2's story wasn't bad either.
I have UT2004 and its one of the best FPS i have played. I loved the original but for some reason didn't like 2k3. This game seems so much better though. So one of the games I was waiting for already delivered. I am also very much waiting for doom 3. This should be very good and I hope it has A high scary as hell factor like some of the Resident Evil's. It has a RE look to it which makes it really cool, and the Fact that its Doom just takes the cake. Anyways I look forward to these new games cause it seems some devs aren't putting any time in some of the games anymore so they turn out rather pants.
Far Cry is an amazing game and its nice to see a new devolper mix it up with the big boys like ID and Valve. Have only seen the screens and movies of HL2 and it looks very impressive. I have played both S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Doom 3 and technically S.T.A.L.K.E.R was impressive although thats about all you could tell. Its a good concept and it looks promising and could well be the surprise hit of 2004. Doom 3 on the other hand was just . If the graphics dont get you then the sound effects will. Its defenetly got THE best sound effects of any game i have ever played. I got so drawn into it i nearly had a heart attack when a door opened unexpectedly lol.
I cant believe nobody has mentioned Novalogics joint ops typhoon rising. 100 player servers and loads of driveable vehicles. Its gonna be amazing.
