Just have a look at the other GTX460 / ATI 6xxx threads from today, don't buy any card in the next 12hr's.
Just sit on your hands, and save your money. @ about 2pm tomorrow all manner of chaos will be released when it comes to graphics cards pricing.

If you are over clocking the card anyway then just go for the cheaper one, not heard of any case where people can't overclock past the settings of a higher overclock higher priced factory card (with the same cooler) (except for maybe some of the very expensive special edition type ones).

Though as rob said it is probably worth waiting a few days even if you get the same card you were thinking of, as the new cards being released may knock prices down a bit.

Avoid Palit's GTX460...high chance you would end up with a loud cooler, and it's cooling is rather poor as well. If you want to get a GTX460, go for a Gigabyte (the one with twin-fan cooler) or MSI Cyclone...these cards are confirmed to be very quiet by the users, whereas people had been RMAing their Palit cards under DSR because of the cooler being too loud.

Also, no point paying extra for the factory overclock...you can just use MSI Afterburner and overclock pass the factory overclock speed easily.

This isn't strongly worded enough, but he's making an important point.

    DON'T BUY A PALIT GTX460.

They're inadequately cooled. There have been numerous complaints about malfunctioning 'cards; several members of this forum alone have returned them. Overclocking will just hasten the inevitable death of the VRMs. Wait for the 6xxx and the 485 announcements.

Anything but the Palit one, my Asus one is lovely. Seriously consider the 6850/70.
