which OS for drivers ?

    hey, i've got my hands on windows xp and was wondering which drivers do i need, i was thinking that windows 2000 compatible drivers should do, or will i need the xp drivers, or will the ones i have be ok ?

    use the xp ones as you use windows xp, make sense really :)

    yeah, the thing is, i haven't installed xp yet incase the cd doesn't have my drivers, so i'm d/ling them just in case, so which ones ?

    the xp ones, xp has drivers for everything anyway. (mostly) :)

    oh, ok, thanks lazy, i'm just a bit wary because getting the 2000 drivers was a nightmare, :D

    Lazy....

    Do you think you could find me a working driver for my graphics card for XP then? (it hasn't worked since I migrated from ME to XP... It is a PCI cheapie I use for a 2nd monitor)

    The driver that comes with XP doesn't work?


    Oh, and I think 2000 drivers work with XP though, don't they? But if XP is available get XP?

    just use the Windows dirvers for Standard PCI compatible Graphics Card or whatever.

    modem drivers are a must as you could be stranded like i was :( doubt you're as stupid as me but best to make sure.
